Learn more about the Schnauzer.
Pixie! This little girl didn’t have the easiest of beginnings with DFW Pup Patrol. When she was rescued she had a broken leg, so she had to be put in a hard cast for six weeks and then she had another four weeks of rehab after that. Then another week of rest after being spayed. Now she is ready to play – and run – and play! She is a very sweet Schnauzer mix, born around January 2016, and 9 pounds. She is so playful and loves her toys and never meets a stranger. She loves to explore everything in the backyard and when she comes inside she runs straight to you to greet you as if to say “here I am – did you miss me?” Pixie is one of those pups that just loves life – every minute of every day and she would especially love spending every day with a new family of her very own! Pixie is crate trained and we are finally able to work with her more on her housetraining – she is smart and will have it down quickly.
