Boscoe needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Boscoe was found wandering all alone near the Houston area. Turned out he was microchipped so the founder took him back to his family where she was told they deliberately drove him out and dumped him!!! Well their stupidity is someone else's new amazing family member, because Boscoe is truly amazing! This boy is FAST!!! He is a high energy pup who loves other dogs and his people. (He is fine with kitties too.) He is already housetrained, knows how to sit and lay down on command, and learned how to shake in a matter of minutes! He is extremely smart. He loves water and wading in the pool, chewing on his Kong toy, chasing balls, and going on long walks. (He walks great on a training collar too!) Boscoe currently weighs 67 lbs, but could stand to lose a few pounds. He is around 2 years old. As far as breed we are stumped. We've had suggestions of Husky, Cattle dog, Bull Terrier, Catahoula, Basenji, Great Dane....He sure is a handsome dude with one crystal clear blue eye and one brown. He is working on crate training (he's not a fan, but can also be left out to free roam the house without any issues while his people are away) and learning not to bolt outdoors. He loves going for car rides and would make a great running or biking companion! He will need a family that can give him the mental stimulation and exercise to fulfill his needs. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $225, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
