This sweet girl is Roxy and we believe she is a Smooth Coated Border Collie mix who is estimated to have been born around March, 2016 and weighs 29 lbs.  So far she’s had a pretty tough time, been surrendered to shelters twice in her short life at no fault of her own, just very much a lack of commitment on her human owner's part.  We’re going to make sure she finds a permanent family this time.

Roxy has learned how to Sit and Heel on command and also knows Down, Place and Come.  She loves to learn new commands and is eager to please her leader.  She is housetrained, crate trained, and knows how to use a dog door.  She loves car rides and playing fetch.

She’s a little shy when meeting new folks, but warms up quickly once she knows you’re safe.   Roxy is extremely lovable, cuddly, and gentle.  She loves to be on your lap, get belly rubs, and even seems to love it when you sing to her.  She gets along great with all other dogs we’ve had her with.
