Capone is a lovable, goofy Mastiff mix boy! He was saved from a rural kill shelter after being surrendered by his owner who was losing his home. He did not have an easy life....he had an ear & skin infection, was very underweight, more than likely kept outside his whole life, and we suspect was hit by a car and left untreated when he was younger. Despite all this Capone is a HAPPY pup! His skin is clearing up nicely, he is putting on weight and currently is about 100 lbs although his goal is 115-120 lbs. He will need his ears cleaned regularly. He does have mild hip dysplasia and a long since healed fracture on his right side legs, but neither bother him much. He loves to play!!! He is great with other dogs, is fine with cats, and good with kids. He loves his blankie to sleep on, his stuffed hippo, and a chewy bone or rawhide. If you're looking for a big, bad guard dog Capone is not the dog for you. He's more of a hide-behind-your-legs-and-peek-out-if-something's-scary type of boy.
