Adoption info can be found here in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link: http://dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Blue is a gorgeous purebred Redbone Coonhound born on March 19, 2017. He currently weighs 75 lbs. Blue is already house trained and crate trained, although he can be left out of the crate when alone and is a perfect gentleman. He loves other dogs big or small, is fine with cats (but does like to chase them if they run because he wants to play!), and has even met a ferret (he wasn't sure what to think of that thing!) Blue has been completely obedience trained and his trainer will meet with his adoptive family. He can be wary of strangers and it takes a while to gain his trust, but once you do he is your best friend for life! He will need time and space to adjust once he's in his new home. Blue's ideal home would be with a strong leader that is familiar with hound breeds, possibly another doggy friend, and no small children. Since he is a hunting breed he does have plenty of energy and will need a daily walk or mental stimulation to keep him happy & balanced. His big hound ears do have a tendency to get yeast infections and will need to be kept clean and dry. Blue is a REALLY great dog, he just need to find his REALLY perfect family.
