Adoption info can be found here in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link: http://dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Sweet Aurora was brought into the rescue after being found as a stray. Besides having puppies at some point and being completely emaciated (only 34 lbs!), she also had a massive internal infection, and heartworms. Despite the neglect she obviously went through, and the months of medical treatment, she is absolutely the sweetest pup and loves everyone she meets. She is now 52 lbs and we estimate she was born around the end of 2017. Aurora will need a home where there is another playful, energetic pup in the home that she can play with. She loves other dogs, big or small, and is fine with kitties too... she will snuggle up right next to them if they will let her. She is housetrained and is fine in her crate when her foster family is not home. She can be mischievous when left to her own devices so will need to probably be crated when no one is home. She could use a little obedience training and is scheduled to spend a week with a trainer (that can be re-scheduled at the adopter’s convenience). We believe Aurora is a Weimaraner/Lab mix....she has those huge ears and docked tail like a Weim, but the coloring and face of a Lab. Any questions can be directed to us at info@dfwpuppatrol.com. All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250 + tax (pups 6 months and older) and $350 + tax (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 3 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
