Woodrow is a super sweet German Shepherd boy that is searching for his real forever home. Woodrow spent 1/2 of his life so far living in an outdoor kennel (he’s about 1 year old now.) He is learning all about living in a house. He still gets nervous and hasn’t figured out the stairs yet, but he discovered the couch and decided he loves it! Woodrow loves toys and is learning that shoes and slippers are not toys...he doesn’t really chew them up but he loves to whip them around. So speaking about chewing, he loves bully sticks or pig ears or chewing on sticks in the yard. Since he’s technically still a puppy you have to supervise him in the house and make sure he doesn’t chew on things he’s not supposed to. He loves laying on the top step of the pool or lounging in a kiddie pool in the summer. He can be shy and is definitely nervous in new situations since he wasn’t exposed to much previously. Once he’s comfortable with you he will be your constant shadow and he sometimes thinks he can be a lap dog! He loves other dogs big or small and loves to run and play. He can be a bit of a rough player though. He loves his kennel and stays in it when his foster mom is gone and at night for sleeping. He currently weighs a little over 50 lbs. but has a little filling out to do yet...he’s on the skinny side. He has been learning how to walk on leash and ride in cars (not his favorite) and would be best in a home with other pups. He could probably be an only dog too, but we expect it would take him longer to settle in without another pup to show him the ropes.
