Adoption info can be found in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link: https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Amelia found herself in a high kill shelter after being found as a stray with no one to claim her. We just fell in love with her cute face! The vet thinks she was born around May of 2021. She is currently about 45 lbs but definitely needs to put some weight on. She will be a medium-large pup full grown. Amelia loves everyone she meets. She is a little timid at first but warms up pretty quickly. She's been around kids, babies, dogs, cats, and even some farm animals! She has been working on not jumping on people to greet them and has been learning quickly. Someone already taught her to "sit" on command and she's doing well with leash walking too. She is good in her crate when no one is home and at night for sleeping and is working on her potty training. Amelia absolutely loves to be near her person and thinks she is a lap pup! She loves balls and will retrieve but doesn't always like to bring them back to you. She loves to tear up toys and get the squeaker and every last bit of stuffing out. She will eat pretty much any food or treat given. Amelia is still very much a puppy and will need a family with the patience to teach her the things she needs to know to be a great dog.
