Sweet Lucy Belle is estimated to be about 1 year old, currently weighs about 5.8 lbs, and we believe she is a ChiPoo mix; not hypoallergenic.  She is still all puppy and is working on learning manners.  She will need someone who will be outside with her due to her small size as she loves to dig and can/will get out of very small unsuspecting places.  An absolute fully secured fence is mandatory.  She also likes to find small things inside and outside and put them in her mouth.  Lucy Belle is  learning to walk on a leash; we use a harness that allows her to walk without pulling on her neck. She is excited to walk and is doing great.   She is feisty with lots of energy and can be very vocal.  Her personality is big and fun; however, she will need a family with patience and consistency to help her learn to be a well behaved adult pup. She is housebroken, crate trained, and loves cuddles.  

This little girl loves everyone and every other dog she meets.  She is fine with her foster family's cat; just curious.  She is good with respectful children; gentle younger children are ok or responsible older children.  As for dogs, we feel another playful smaller companion dog in her new home would be ideal for her, but we believe she would be ok as an only dog if she received plenty of consistent exercise and attention.   She does like to play and may have too much energy for an older dog.   S he is a daily dog park visitor currently and loves her daily walks as well.  Lucy Belle loves to play and can be chatty (aka barks) with other dogs.  She wants their attention and wants to play and is vocal about it; we are working with her on this.  She is easily distracted with toys and fetch.

Lucy Belle has been groomed recently and did really well. She is not a fan of having her face groomed; just squirms a lot since she is not used to it, but no nipping or growling.   She is ok in the crate and is crated when her foster family is not home; preferring to snuggle in bed at night with her people though.
