Spunky is the cutest pup this side of the Mississippi and is currently approximately 7 months old! He came to us at just 3 days old, his mother unfortunately passing away due to pregnancy complications.  We believe he is a Basenji mix pup, and no guarantee, but we think he'll be approximately 60 pounds full grown and he thinks he's a lap dog!

Spunky is housetrained with a doggy door and is quickly learning to use the bells on the door to go out when the doggy door is closed.  He is a wonderful watch dog and has a very intimidating growl/bark, but he really is a big baby at heart and wants to be with his people.  Very much a cuddler.  He can be playful and he is alo fine just kicking back and lounging.

Spunky is crate trained, just a little bit of fuss when he first goes in but quickly settles, and he gives a big boy bark when he needs to go out to the bathroom. And if he's napping in bed with his foster mommy, he makes himself very at home on her face to let her know it's time to get up and go out. He's used to playing with big dogs, little dogs and cats too.
