IMPORTANT NOTE: Please click on “Read More about this Pet” at the bottom for additional information regarding this pet and adoption details. Nightengale (aka Gale) is a Belgian Shepherd Sheepdog who is approximately 2 years of age and weighs about 57 lbs. She was rescued from a local shelter when she ran out of time and was about to be euthanized, being pregnant and about to deliver any day. This people-loving, sweet, young mother has successfully raised her litter of 10 puppies with complete dedication, maintaining a calm disposition. She deserves to find a loving, forever family who will value her fantastic personality and guide her to remembering her indoor manners when she occasionally forgets. Crate- and house-trained, Nightengale is full of sweetness who loves her squeaky and soft toys and is perfectly happy to stay by your side. She would love to bring you your slippers and is so eager to please! She walks quite well on a leash and could be a great jogging partner, if you enjoy running (she doesn’t pull while walking, but can certainly keep up if you pick up the pace!). She has done fantastically with all ages of children and many other dogs, though moving cats are seen more as fantastic chase toys rather than companions. If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please fill out our Pre-Adoption Application. The link to this form can be found on the home page of our website, http://www.dfwpuppatrol.com.
