IMPORTANT NOTE: Please click on “Read More about this Pet” at the bottom for additional information regarding this pet and adoption details. Luke is approximately 1-1/2 years of age, weighs about 35 lbs, and we believe to be a Boykin Spaniel mix pup. He is a very timid boy, still learning to trust humans, but he is super sweet! Luke is housetrained and crate trained. He sleeps in his opened crate and/or on the bed. He lives to snuggle once trust has been established. He climbs up on the bed at daylight and charms his way into getting attention. When you pick him up he’ll sit and let you pet him for long periods of time. He is a very, very sweet boy and he rides well in the car. He has been tolerant of his pedicures at the groomers, accepting attention from strangers, and isn’t a problem at all. Because he is so timid, his new furever family will need to be extremely careful that he cannot bolt out of a doorway or escape in any other way and he must be a house pup. Luke is so very ready to finally have that committed, accepting, and loving family he so deserves and a place with humans to call his very own. If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please fill out our Pre-Adoption Application. The link to this form can be found on the home page of our website, http://www.dfwpuppatrol.com. It can be submitted via email to info@dfwpuppatrol.com or faxed to 972-767-4849. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
