Say hello to Arnie, a sweet and well mannered, handsome boy! He is believed to be about 1-1/2 years old and most likely a Great Pyrenees mix pup, possibly with American Bulldog.  He weighs about 70-75 pounds. His foster mom cannot say enough good things about this sweetheart of a boy. He is housetrained, crate trained, doggy door trained, and walks well on a leash. Arnie knows a few commands like sit, shake, and hug. He is very food motivated and takes it gently from your hand. He loves to play with his big foster sister, but knows to leave the smaller foster brothers alone (since they are old and grumpy). His current foster home has 2 small children (ages 5 and 7) and he is very well mannered around them too and loves to see them come into the room.  We have the rare advantage of knowing where Arnie came from before he came into our rescue group...he was raised by a young man who was also training to be a dog trainer, so he used Arnie as his student. Unfortunately, the young gentleman had to move back in with his parents who already had 4 large dogs and were unable to take in a 5th dog. So we have stepped in to help Arnie and find him his perfect forever home. He is very energetic and will do great with an active family, but he also knows how to be calm when he needs to be. He would make an excellent addition to almost any family and we hope you come and meet him.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
