Gidget is an 8-month-old, 14.5 pound Cairn Terrier Mix pup.  She was found wandering with Gizmo (also a DFW Pup Patrol dog available for adoption) near the interstate in rush hour traffic--this pup is fearless! Safe and happy now with her foster family, Gidget is housetrained, crate-trained, and full of energy.  Living with children, she enjoys fetching her soft, squeaky toy, springing into action when she sees her leash, walks well, and enjoys being with other dogs (once she gets to know them).  Gidget enjoys chasing cats, so a cat-free house might be best; at her age, though, she could assimilate happily to a cat-household with just the right cat!  Very much a puppy, Gidget will benefit from a family ready to take daily walks and attend puppy obedience training classes together.  She responds happily to her name and sits almost every time! :)  Gidget will be a wonderful addition to almost any household!

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
