Darcy is a very playful and snuggly sweetheart of a pup. This loving schnauzer/terrier mix ended up at a shelter as a stray.  Her owners never claimed her and DFW Pup Patrol rescued her just before her time was up. She was a matted mess. Once all the mats were cut out, her incredible cuteness was fully revealed! We think she’s about 1 year old and still maintains a bit of the mischievousness of a pup (don’t worry…nothing destructive, just needs a bit of correction and redirection). She is completely house-trained with a doggy door, doesn’t shed, and does great with kids and other doggies (she does not like cats!). She has fun playing with other doggies, but we think she’d also be happy to be an only dog and get all the attention. She’s quick to warm up and will be sure to love her new family and give lots of thankful kisses!

If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please fill out our Pre-Adoption Application. The link to this form can be found on the home page of our website, http://www.dfwpuppatrol.com. It can be submitted via email to info@dfwpuppatrol.com or faxed to 972-767-4849. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
