Meet Wimbley!!! This 1yr old, male, approximately 45lb, Golden Retriever/Chow mix is all heart. He was rescued from a shelter that was going to put him down because it was so full. He was a stray before that, but you wouldn't be able to tell given his adorable personality! Wimbley is good with other dogs and great with people (and children). A laid back fellow who definitely loves to play; he has that quirky, goofy, puppy personality that is irresistible. Wimbley walks great on a leash and would make a great running companion. He is now housetrained and crate trained. He has learned to sit and lay down on command (with a treat, of course!) He was low heartworm positive and underweight when we got him, but he has been through treatment and we are working on fattening him up. He has long, red hair...but it was a mess from being in the shelter and on the streets, so he got a shave (but it is starting to grow out nicely now.) We think he will be about 50-55 lbs when he reaches his normal weight.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
