Meet Kara, rescued from Durant, OK. Estimated to have been born in about Dec, 2012 and currently about 50 lbs, Kara is bright, very athletic, eager to please, and has gone through basic obedience training. We believe Kara is a Greyhound/Labrador Retriever mix pup who is crate- and house-trained. She is a very happy pup and enjoys playing with other dogs and is great with kids. She seems interested in cats, but doesn't seem to be a chaser. Kara loves to "talk" with the people around her--it sounds just like a conversation sometimes. :) This girl loves belly rubs, loves to cuddle, and will take pets as long as they're given. Kara likes firm direction; she likes to know you’re in control. This lady is a blast and full of personality! One of the fastest dogs we've ever seen run. If you've never seen her - take her somewhere & let her air out the cob webs. She's absolutely amazing. Seriously though, 35 mph to a dead stop & sit beside you when you call her. She's going to bond very deeply with her ultimate people and if you're blessed enough to have her join your family, you'll have one amazing pup indeed. When out in public let her approach new people instead of them approaching her. If she doesn't click with them, move on. She'll tolerate anyone, but if she likes someone, she likes them quickly. Please make Kara’s wishes come true and help DFW Pup Patrol find her a loving committed forever family! If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please fill out our Pre-Adoption Application. The link to this form can be found on the home page of our website, http://dfwpuppatrol.com.
