Tiara is a beautiful, silly, smart, goofy and cuddly StaffieX. She was originally found wandering in Deep Ellum, lost and alone. I met Tiara when she was first rescued off the street and was going to her first foster home. I was in love with her instantly and was so happy that she had a chance for a good life. Since then she was passed along twice and on the day she was to be taken to the shelter I intercepted. I have been trying to find Tiara her forever home since July 2013. Most of her time has been spent in boarding and although she is visited and works on training constantly, boarding is not the type of home she deserves. Please take a look at this beautiful girl and share her information so that she may finally live in a loving home.
Tiara is approximately 3 years old and weighs 60 lbs.. She is up to date on all vaccines, on heart worm preventative and overall a healthy girl. Her coloring is very unique and striking. Tiara loves car rides and walks in the park. She is very good with children. Cats would intrigue her too much. Tiara has another very special item in her resume. She spent 5 months in a board and train facility where she became very adept at learning new commands. Tiara can heel, sit, down, stay, place, shake and really enjoys her training practice. She went from having no idea how to behave appropriately with another dog to enjoying time in a pack with her trainer in Austin. That being said, in order to integrate Tiara into a home with another dog her guardian would need to be an experienced trainer, no exceptions. Tiara needs a human who enjoys the bond created with a dog through training. She is so happy when she has a leader. This girl is so very capable of being a super dog and is already on her way there. The only missing part of that equation is a consistent home with a guardian who understands the beauty of bonding through training. All that said, Tiara's most favorite thing to do is cuddle and be near her person. She just wants a best friend and guardian who will spend time with her and love her. She is crate trained and potty trained as well.
