My name is Athena (Goddess of Wisdom) but my mom thinks it should be Aphrodite (Goddess of Love).  I am estimated to be about 4 to 5 years old and am a 7-pound bundle of love and affection.  When you first meet me, you might think my name should be Violet because I can be shy - but when the real me comes out it is look out world!  I am a Yorkie, so I protect my human’s lap - after all - it is “my” human.  I do like to play with other dogs and toys, especially the squeaky ones (the toys not the dogs).  I will curl up and lay quietly next to you as long as you will let me - and I will sleep with you too and will be as still as can be - all night long - you will almost forget that I am even there.  I do love my person and that is when I am happiest - I will stay in my crate all night if you insist and I am doing really well with learning proper house manners - just teach me your routine and I will be good to go.  I have only had a couple of small accidents at my foster’s home.  Once we get acquainted and you know that you are my person - you will think my name should be Elmers - because I am going to be stuck like glue to you!  I am a very happy little girl and would love to share all of my affection with you.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
