Hey Everyone,  Rudy is my name and playing or snuggling is my game!  What more could you ask for!!  Let me tell you little bit about myself!

I am a male Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen born around January 2014 and weighing in around 16 - 17 lbs.    Here is a little about my breed...  Definitely not a hairy Basset Hound, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen name in French reveals much about him: Petit- small; Basset- low to the ground; Griffon- rough or wire coated; and Vendéen- the area of France from which he originated. A scent hound, the PBGV is bold and alert with a strong, tapered tail carried like a saber. His long, rough coat should appear casual and tousled. Confident, happy and extroverted, the PBGV is best suited to the active, experienced dog owner with older children and a well-fenced yard. The breed is not a couch potato and needs daily exercise - if not, he may express his displease by using his "hound voice" or creating amusing diversions of his own. Although independent, he is still willing to please. If a PBGV possesses the correct harsh coat, he will require a thorough weekly brush out to stay in condition.   I am not sure if all this applies here to me as I am bit more timid but warm up to my person real fast and I really love to just play and cuddle!!

I have learned so much over the past couple weeks already!  I learned to play with toys,  to chase my other furlegged brothers along with how to Ring Those Bells hanging on back door to go out and Potty!  I am just a puppy yet so yes, I still have few accidents but it won't be long now and I will be completely potty trained!  I sleep all night in my crate but can't wait to get out in the morning to start my day!  And yep, it is busy one!!  First I potty,  then I eat,  then I go back outside and play awhile!  I love to chase and play outside but it wears me out and I just like to come in and take a nap!!  Do you have a comfy dog bed for me by chance?  If not your lap would be fine too!  I also love licking on ice cubes!  I learned that sound of that ice maker the second day and they are so good!!   I still have so much to learn like being able to go on nice walks.  I am still scared of the leash/lead so we are doing it little by little.  Would you help me learn this too please?  I have been told I am a fast learner!

I have already been neutered and had my first set of puppy shots.  I know I have more to follow along with being micro chipped soon.  I was told this is to help protect me in case I ever get away.  I just know though once I find my furever home I will never want to leave!!
