Meet Jenny!!! Jenny was rescued from the Garland Animal Shelter with a prolapsed rectum requiring emergency surgery. She was a sick little baby and for at least the time being she is on a strict diet and is prone to her rectum collapsing again. The vet said she could grow out of the condition over time. She is a 6 lb, born around November 17th, we believe poodle/havanese mix. Jenny is full of energy, love, and patience. She is not quite housetrained, but is learning quickly. She sleeps quietly all night in her kennel. She does very well with other dogs and with children, including her foster Mom's 60lb and 70lb dogs! Jenny has a lot of energy and will require lots of play time. As a result, we feel she will do best in a home where there is another pup who will play with her. Jenny does like to snuggle, but mostly after she is done with playtime. She likes to pile her soft fluffy toys up and then lay on top and chew a bone. She's the best! Jenny barks a little bit when people are approaching the house. But she loves to meet new people and is very social. Loud/sudden noises can scare her, but once you show her it's safe, she's totally fine. Because of her breed, Jenny will need to either be brushed regularly or groomed.
