Dakota is somewhere around 7 years old, and we believe is a Shepherd mix pup.  Dakota’s Mommy died of cancer, and his Daddy decided he didn’t want to keep him anymore. He is leash trained, and housetrained. He is crate trained, but he doesn't need one. He knows "sit" and "down", and will put on a big show of it for his favorite thing...a treat! He loves all humans big and small and all sizes of dogs. (He was introduced to a cat and didn't even care about it, although he has never lived with one.)

Dakota is a VERY good boy with GREAT manners. He is eager to please his family and has not caused ANY trouble in his foster home. He is happy to relax the day away, but still has playful spunkiness.   He is a VERY loving boy and just wants to lay at your feet forever.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $225, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
