Red was found on the side of the interstate covered in blood and with severe mange. Her rescuer saved her, got her completely well, and fell in love with her. Unfortunately, the city she lives in gave her a citation for having too many dogs and she was forced to give Red up. DFW Pup Patrol agreed to take Red in and find her a furever home. Red is about 2 years old, weighs approximately 60 lbs, and we believe is a Red Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix pup. She gets along just fine with cats and dogs alike, but can be a bit timid when first meeting new people. We would like to see her go into a home with another pup to play with. She is an absolute gorgeous girl who would make a great addition to almost any family.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $225, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
