Hi, I'm Clementine (aka "Remi")!  I have had a hard road, but it has gotten better lately!  I was rescued from an area in SE Dallas that is a known dumping ground for dogs - dead and alive - and I am so fortunate that some nice people got me the heck outta there!  I am about 6 to 7 years old and very sweet, although I can be a bit shy at first.  I co-exist with other dogs who don't bug me, but I'm not really a player; I much prefer to just hang out with my person. Kitties are just fine as well.  When I was first rescued, I had a case of heartworms so severe that heartworms were found in the biopsy done of the tumor on my tail!  But that's all behind me now - I had a lengthy heartworm treatment, and finally got that tumor off of my tail, which turned out to be benign!  Now all I need to complete my journey to a better life is my forever home. Is that with you?  I am housetrained and crate trained.
