**Ask about our Foster to Adopt option for this pup** Maddie we believe is a Cane Corso mix pup who is estimated to be about 5-6 years old. She still acts like a puppy though, and loves to run and play! Maddie led a life of misery and neglect. Just days away from death Maddie was surrendered and rescued by DFW Pup Patrol. She had six months of extensive care, treatment, and love to help her recover. At only 47 lbs when she was rescued, she finally hit her goal weight of 80 lbs, and also successfully completed heartworm treatment. Maddie now needs the perfect forever family to give her the love she so desperately wants and deserves. She is already crate trained. She probably lived outside her whole life so she is working on potty training, but she is catching on pretty quick. She LOVES toys...all toys! She loves to fetch and adores snuggling! Kisses and belly rubs are a must! Maddie is good with other dogs, but can be overbearing with small dogs because of her size. She has been introduced to a confident cat and did really well, but again she is large and wants to play with them. She does well with children also! Maddie is a sweet, wonderful, silly girl who really just wants a home to call her very own. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $225, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
