Snoopy is a sweet boy who was intercepted at the shelter where his owners were planning on surrendering him. He really likes to be with his people. He is a little shy at first and is learning to be a confident, happy pup. He will need a little time to adjust in his new home and a lot of love and patience. He is working on house training and doing very well. He does not like the crate and seems to be fearful of it, but we are working on that with him. He likes other small dogs and is slowly coming out of his shell and wanting to play with his foster fur siblings. He will bark at bigger dogs when he is feeling fearful. When a cat runs he thinks he needs to chase them, but a firm “no” stops him in his tracks. He really likes kids and loves to be loved on. He likes to walk, but is timid when other people or dogs walk by. Walks will help with his energy, socialization, and help him learn even more confidence. We believe Snoopy has some Maltese and probably Poodle in him, and he is around 2 years old. He currently weighs about 12 lbs. Snoopy would do best in a home where he has another dog to play with and learn from.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $225, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
