Darby (formerly Sparkles) is a very sweet YorkiPoo who wants to have her own family to love and be loved in return.  She is such a people dog that her person’s love and attention is what she wants most in life.  Darby is a little under 14 pounds and will celebrate her estimated 3 ^rd  birthday this next July.  She is a beautiful platinum/champagne color and her fur has the Poodle curl to it – and no shedding!  Darby is full of energy and enjoys running in the backyard and playing with her doggie toys.  But what she loves most is curling up with her people and being petted and loved on.  She is house-trained and crate trained, but being in the crate is her least favorite thing.  Darby is not a dog who wants to be alone and will bark if left alone and crated for long periods of time.  She needs a home where someone is home with her most of the day so if you are a stay at home parent, work from home, or are retired then Darby is the dog for you.  Darby will do best in a home without young children, she can be nippy when she is wanting attention – she nibbles on my fingers when she is begging to be petted.  Darby does get along with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, but she can be protective of her food so we think she will be on her best behavior if she is the only dog and gets all of the attention.  Darby is a loving girl and wants nothing more than to share that love with a new 100% committed family.
