Mila is a very sweet and special girl who was found living on the streets full of parasites, fleas, had demodectic mange, and was very underweight and malnourished. No owner could be located, so she came into our rescue at a meek 7.8 lbs. She was estimated to have been born about 11/28/17. She is now healthy and currently weighs approximately 52 lbs; so amazing what food, love and a caring home can do! We can only estimate, but we believe she will be about 55 to 65 lbs full grown.
We think Mila is a Vizsla/Rhodesian Ridgack mix gal. She loves to play and cuddle next to her person. She is doing great with housetraining. She completed an Obedience Class and passed with flying colors! Mila loves bobbing for carrots in her kiddy pool and she loves other dogs. She is working on eating slower and will do best with a slow-eating bowl.
Mila will need a home with a family who has the time, commitment, and patience to continue socializing her and help guide her into her adult life so she can be a wonderful family addition. She is a pup that needs daily walks and brain games/stimulation since she is a sporting breed and both physical and mental exercises really help pups with their energy levels. Mila is in a foster home with teenagers and other dogs and cats. She does great with everyone, but when the cats run, she thinks it’s a game of chase. A quick “no” typically stops her from chasing them.
