Rust needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Adoption info can be found here in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link: http://dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Meet Rust - the kindest, most loving dog you will ever meet! He is about 4 1/2 years old and weighs just over 100 lbs. He loves people, kids, and other dogs too. He enjoys playing outside and laying in the shade, swimming, and he especially loves going to doggy daycare. Believe it or not he's not much of a hunter though...he will literally watch bunnies play and run in the yard! When he's not playing he loves lounging around the house. He is housetrained, knows some basic commands, rides well in the car, and walks well on leash. Contrary to popular belief Bloodhounds are very active dogs....Rust will need a good sized yard, an experienced owner that is familiar with the breed, and an outlet for all his energy. Grooming is minimal for Bloodhounds, but they do need their ears checked regularly and kept clean. If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please click here (or copy and paste http://dfwpuppatrol.rescuegroups.org/info/adoption into your browser) to view our adoption info and where you will find the link to fill out our online Pre-Adoption Application. Any questions can be directed to us at info@dfwpuppatrol.com. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
