Dean is around 2 years old and currently weighs 34 lbs. He is a Basset mix...there might be some Heeler in there based on his spotted markings on his feet and chest. He's a little smaller than the traditional Basset Hound, but has the short legs and turned out feet and the looooong body. Dean has had a rough go of it lately, but oh my has his luck changed now with the Pup Patrol! He is a chill guy that just wants to be near his people. He would love to sleep right next to his person at night if allowed. Dean is already potty trained and is working on crate training. He is good with most small dogs, but gets nervous with dogs bigger than him or dogs that are super energetic due to negative past experiences. He's not a fan of cats so will do best in a home without them. If you meet him you will see he is just an awesome dude!

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
