Emmitt needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Adoption info can be found here in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link: http://dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Hi! My name is Emmitt...yes, just like the Dallas Cowboy's Emmitt! If you're not a fan, that's okay because I really don't even know what football is! I'm a Labrador/Pointer mix boy that's older, but I have a lot of life left in me! I was adopted through the Pup Patrol when I was just a puppy and I had a great home, but sadly my Mom passed away from cancer earlier this year so I am back with the Pup Patrol to find a new forever, committed, loving family. Could that be you? I'm about 8 years old, but don't let my age fool you. If you're up for a walk or some playtime, well I am too! If you just want to chill and relax I can do that as well. I currently weigh about 70 lbs, but could stand to loose a few lbs. I am house trained, not at all destructive, and I walk well on a leash. I love to cuddle, get lots of belly rubs, and even think I am a lap dog sometimes. One of the things I can do without in my life are cats....we tend not to get along. So, if you're looking for a big, sweet, and loyal companion pup then I might just be the pup for you! If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please click here (or copy and paste http://dfwpuppatrol.rescuegroups.org/info/adoption into your browser) to view our adoption info and where you will find the link to fill out our online Pre-Adoption Application. Any questions can be directed to us at info@dfwpuppatrol.com. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
