Lily needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Adoption info can be found here in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link: http://dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Ask about our Foster-to-Adopt Program for Lily! Lily was saved from a high-kill shelter over 5 years ago by the Pup Patrol. She was adopted out, but recently the family returned her to the rescue. This poor girl is now over 30 lbs overweight! She has been completely checked out by our veterinarian and has no medical issues. She has been through a 2 week training program and walks great on leash, comes when called, knows some basic commands, and has been socialized with other pups and even a kitty cat! The trainer will be available for meet and greets and also a training demo for her adopter. She is super sweet and loves to hang out near her humans. She loves her daily walks and will need them every day to help her lose the weight. She is very obedient and willing to please, but she will need a home with structure and rules to keep her on the right path. Lily is about 6 years old now and should weigh 65-70 lbs (she's currently 95 lbs). She is completely house broken and crate trained, but she is not destructive at all when left alone. If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please click here (or copy and paste http://dfwpuppatrol.rescuegroups.org/info/adoption into your browser) to view our adoption info and where you will find the link to fill out our online Pre-Adoption Application. Any questions can be directed to us at info@dfwpuppatrol.com. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
