At only 3 months old Eddie was picked up as a stray and brought to the shelter. After a week without anyone coming to claim him he was brought into the rescue. Within a few days he was showing signs of sickness which ended up being a severe viral infection that almost cost him his life. It was a dicey 7 days with him spending several days in the hospital, so we were ecstatic and relieved to see him start perking up and acting like a normal little puppy again! He has such a personality too! Eddie was born around the end of November 2018 and currently weighs about 20 lbs. He is an interesting looking guy. The huge, erect ears and bowed out front legs suggest Corgi and the looooong body is probably Dachshund or Basset, but where that brindle coat came from is a mystery. Eddie is great with all people, loves other dogs, and is fine with cats too. He is crate trained, is doing great with potty training, and knows how to use a doggy door. He loves to cuddle with his person, does pretty good on leash, and will make a great member of almost any family.
