Hi, my name is Lucina, but my foster Mom calls me "snuggle bug." I guess that's because it's my favorite thing to do. I was saved from a kill shelter a few months ago and since I was heartworm positive I had to get all better before I could be up for adoption. Now I am healthy and a perfect 12.8 lbs, I go potty outside, and I don't mind my crate (although I'd rather be with you!) They say I'm a Dachshund mix and maybe 5 years old, but I don't feel a day over 3. My foster Mom is super impressed with how calm I am and how well I get along with her other pups. She thinks that I would make a perfect addition to almost any home. I can be a little shy at first, but I love everyone. Other things I love are going for walks, squeaky toys, and food! I love food so much that I will steal the other pups' food if they will let me, so my foster Mom makes sure to pick it up before I come out of my crate. Please consider adopting me because I am a super sweet pup and deserve to have an amazing forever home.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
