Her original purpose was to be bred to make money off her puppies, but when that didn’t happen she was relinquished to the rescue to find her a great home. She is the sweetest girl, but has zero training and will need a home that can teach her some basic obedience or enroll her in doggy school. She currently weighs about 91 lbs, but she is still considered a puppy and has some growing to do. Speaking of being a puppy, she will chew on things she’s not supposed to so will need to be supervised or in a crate when no one is home. She does fine in her crate although she doesn’t care for it much, and is house trained. She gets along with other pups and loves to play, and she is very curious about kitties and would love to play with them too! She loves to be close to her person, and adores being petted. She is a good sport about waiting to get her feet cleaned before coming inside. Stella will need a patient family with a large yard for her to run. All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250 + tax (pups 6 months and older) and $350 + tax (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
