Meet Tai, a Flat Coat Retriever I adopted from the Richardson shelter—he had been there 6 months and was due to be PTS. He is a full blood flat coat and is approximately 8 or 9 years old. I had him completely vetted, neutered, etc. He is a senior with hip dysplasia and hearing loss due to his hunting days—and he was obviously someone's hunting buddy. He is VERY CAT aggressive, which of course, I had no way of knowing at the time. He is a perfect gentlemen in the house, goes to doggy daycare, gets along with all other dogs and does not chew.  Tai really doesn't have any bad habits that I have observed, except that he wants to eat my cat. My cat is so terrorized he has licked all the fur off his belly. He is heartworm negative, UTD on all his shots, had a dental when he was neutered—I spent a fortune on him. I am actively seeking to rehome him where he will come for free with all his meds, dogs beds, raised dish, etc.
