Meet Spencer ..... he was born 1/29/11.  We believe he is a Pit Bull Terrier with possible Border Collie mix.  We know for sure he is part Pit Bull Terrier because we saw his mom. He currently weighs approximately 25 pounds. He knows how to sit, shake, speak, and lay down. He knows to wait to let people go through doors before him and tries his hardest not to jump on people. He loves kids and other dogs, he's never shown any signs of aggression with dogs or people. He has met one cat when he was really little, he just tried to play with it but wasn't very successful. We're not sure how he would do now, probably the same. Honestly, if a cat was mad and swiped him he would probably leave it alone forever. He's had great success in doggie daycare. He's current on all of his vaccinations, and on monthly heartworm prevention. He is neutered and microchipped. He is 97% potty trained, he knows he is supposed to go outside but is still trying to figure out scratching at the door. We've been teaching him with bells on the doorknob. He can be a submissive wetter when he meets new people and gets really excited. He loves rawhides and toys, he will destroy anything stuffed and rip the fuzz off of tennis balls and he will eat these things if not supervised. He keeps himself pretty much occupied. He will bark if someone's at the door and when playing, but otherwise he's a quiet guy. He is crate trained. Spencer constantly looks for guidance and wants nothing more in the world than to please you. He's super affectionate and loves to be able to sit on the couch with you and watch tv.
