IMPORTANT NOTE: Please click on “Read More about this Pet” at the bottom for additional information regarding this pet and adoption details. Hi, my name is Butch. I think I am a Rat Terrier mix, am approximately 7 yrs old, and weigh about 20 lbs. I have a real nice coat.....it's smooth and tight, with no noticeable shedding. I get along with kitties, other dogs, children, and adults! My favoritist is my human master though and would love to be that special someone's furever companion! I don't really like rain and I won't even walk through a lawn sprinkler. I do walk well on a leash and I don't pull or try to get away at all and I don't bark unless someone rings the doorbell or is walking around outside the house. I am housebroken and crate trained. I stay in the house while my foster mom is at work and I sleep inside as well during the night. I enjoy a 15-minute walk in the morning and then again in the evening. It gives me the perfect opportunity to do my "business". My last owners must have let me sleep with them, because from the first night at my foster mom's house I just jumped right up in bed with her when it was time to sleep. Basically, I like to be wherever you are. I love my human and I bond quickly, making them my sole reason for living! I like to ride in the car; if you open the car door I'll jump right in and ride quietly. I like to go outside if you'll go with me. I don't seem to have been introduced to 'fetching'; I wasn't very interested in going after the ball that my foster mom tossed for me. Oh well, maybe in time. I'll sit at your feet in the house while you eat, watch TV, or do your paperwork. I'll jump up next to you on the couch; however, I know how to obey and stay down if you wish. I'm a great companion for any age person. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please fill out ourPre-Adoption Application.
