This handsome boy was rescued from the streets of Ft. Worth and no owner claimed him! Dexter is approximately 2 to 3 years of age and quite the cuddlebug and lapdog!  He appears to be a Staffordshire/Catahoula mix pup.  He absolutely adores people and has a smile that will make it worth getting up to face any day!  He has successfully completed heartworm treatment and is now on monthly heartworm prevention.

Dexter will do best in a home where there are no small children or small dogs because he can play rough if he's gotten excited and is a very strong pup.  Dexter can be picky about what other dogs are around him and tends to do best around female dogs who are his size or a little smaller, who are confident, but not alpha or dominating.  He would be great with an active family that can provide leadership and guidance.  He knows how to sit and is making great progress walking on a leash.
