Sweet Serafina (Fina) was found as a stray at a convenience store in Garland.  Probably dumped, as she had recently been feeding new born puppies that weren't with her.  We looked high and low and could not find her babies anywhere.

Fina is an exceptionally smart and well-behaved pocket pit mix, possibly with Weimaraner, that once knew owners and a home.  She knows her name after only 3 days in her foster home!  Fina is very calm, laid back and easy going.  She is crate-trained and house trained and knows "sit" for her food. When she sees the leash she walks to the door and sits patiently and waits for you.  She is great with everyone including children; young and old.  No food or toy aggression at all, knows how to play fetch, and knows how to shake.  She doesn't beg for food while her people eat, she just sits and watches while slobbering :).  Her foster home has a cat, which Fina is curious about; however, when the cat puffs up at her in warning Fina cowers and walks away calmly.  She is about 1-1.5 yrs old and weighs about 45 lbs.  Fina has met several small breed dogs and puppies and shows basic interest and is happy to meet them.
