Canela was rescued with 3 of her litter mates and momma from an abandoned building in Ft. Worth. She is approximately 10 weeks of age and we believe she is a Border Collie/Red Heeler mix pup. She is expected to be a medium to large size pup when she is full grown. We do have photos of the daddy and he appears to be the Red Heeler mix and the momma, Suzy Lu, is a Border Collie mix, and she is also available for adoption.

Canela is a crazy little girl, always happy, full of energy, very curious, loves attention and gives kisses.  She thoroughly enjoys human contact and playing with other dogs.  She is very sweet and seems to be smiling all the time.  Canela has the most beautiful deep and warm grey eyes.  She gets so excited anytime she sees you and she just wants to play with you right away.

Canela will do best with a family who has the time and patience to help her through her puppy phase. Obedience training and puppy socialization classes is highly recommended.
