Athena was born 06/06/12 and is an 8-1/2 lb Belgian Shepherd/Rottie mix pup who is a bundle of energy and spunk!  She is very inquisitive, playful, and sweet—she will find something to smell or climb over anywhere she goes.  She loves to play with her siblings, but is just as happy snuggling up with a human companion, adult or child.  She is doing well with her potty learning, so a committed forever family must be ready to help her finish the potty learning process and start her with puppy obedience so she can be the best well mannered pup she can be.  She is a quick study and a high energy puppy, so Athena will do well with an active person/family who loves to run and play.  Being a Belgian Shepherd/Rottie mix, she will likely be large (mother is 57 lbs), but loyal and very intelligent as well. Athena has been well socialized with multiple children aging from 3-15 in her foster home and is quite happy with attention from young friends.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200 and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
