At only 6 months of age, Desiree is a super sweet pup and loves everyone she comes in contact with. She is true to her pittie breed and displays some of the unique Basenji traits as well.  She definitely LOVES to give kisses and sit in your lap. 

Her submissive nature has allowed her to blend in nicely with the other dogs at her foster mommy's, and she absolutely loves to play with them for hours.  She does play fetch, but we're working on the release part of the game. Desiree is also quite the jumper and will probably be an awesome Frisbee catcher.

Since she is still young, she will require a family who has the time, commitment and patience to continue some needed basic obedience and other puppy development. She is crate trained and about 90% potty trained.  An investment in chew toys/bones is a must; otherwise, you might just find a shoe or two missing (ask her foster mommy about that...LOL). We are working on her manners. She currently knows the word "NO" and "SIT" and she has shown absolutely no food or toy aggression.    

If you're looking for an energetic pup, who with some guidance and polishing, will reward you endless love and faithfulness, Desiree is your gal.  She really is a great dog!

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200 and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
