Phoebe is a 7.5 pound, 12 month old (approximately) Italian Greyhound Chihuahua mix (we believe) whose sole purpose on the planet is to love her people. She is precious with the sweetest face and disposition. She has the most beautiful brindle coloring. She often stands with her feet in a turned out position like a ballerina. She is housebroken as long as she is taken out roughly every 6-8 hours. She prefers to go potty in a yard, so she will need to go to a home with a yard. She enjoys a daily walk and has just started to realize she can go potty on the walk. She barks at people and other dogs on the walks, but otherwise is a very quiet dog - no yipping. She is crate trained, but would definitely prefer to sleep deep under the covers at night with her person/people. She whines for a few minutes when you first put her in the crate, but with a gentle "Shhh" she will quiet down and settle in. She does well with other dogs, and is loving towards all people after she is petted. Her default position is on her back to have her tummy rubbed. She is a wet noodle most of the time - meaning you can hold her any way you want - like a newborn baby. She is a great eater - food motivated. She has also just begun to show interest in playing with toys. If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please fill out our Pre-Adoption Application.
