Hi!  My name is Quinlan and one night the Pup Patrol found me in a cemetery in the middle of nowhere all alone and very hungry.  (I'd tell you the name of the town they found me in, but you've probably guessed it already.)  I was skin and bones, but I quickly got to my recommended weight (about 60lbs currently) and I have now grown into a beautiful, healthy dog.  The vet thinks I was probably born around November, 2012.  My foster Mom guesses I am a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Staffie mix pup.  Do you know that Ridgebacks were bred to hunt lions?!  Yep, that's me...a lion hunter.  Ok not really but I sure do love adventure...walks, hikes, car rides...I'm up for it! When I was rescued I had never been on a leash before, and at first I was scared of it, but now I LOVE taking walks and going on walks! My foster Mom says I am pretty high energy so I will need plenty of walks and play time to stay out of trouble. I love to chase a soccer ball, and boy do I LOVE to swim! Throw a stick in the water, and I will go get it and bring it back to you over and over! I get along with other pups and even kitties and need to be in a household with another strong dog for me to play with.  I am crate trained and house trained; I come when called and know how to sit, lay down, and shake on command. I will wait patiently and am very gentle about taking treats and food. So I'm smart AND cute all in one package!!
