Rosie is an 11-month-old Belgian Shepherd/Lab Retriever mix pup (born 6.6.12).  Very much of a gorgeous, funny pup, she loves children and is always happy to play fetch with her giant tennis ball and to be near her humans and be loved on.  Rosie loves to hold soft things in her mouth:  stuffed animals, socks, balls of yarn—she doesn’t generally chew on them, just totes them around.  Perhaps you could train her to bring your slippers to you?  Rosie loves to make new friends, both human and dog.  She greets others happily and plays well with dogs of all sizes.  Rosie is housetrained, spayed, crate-trained, and basic obedience trained.  She enjoys exploring on her daily walks.  As a Belgian Shepherd mix, she does occasionally have a strong-willed streak; she needs a confident, strong human leader to remind her of her proper manners and boundaries.  Rosie would love to be in a home with lots of time to walk/run, play, and snuggle, and she would do well with another dog.  She enjoys chasing cats, so she’d likely do best in a household without kitties.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
