IMPORTANT NOTE: Please click on “Read More about this Pet” at the bottom for additional information regarding this pet and adoption details. Nina is a very petite little girl who we believe to be a maltese/poodle mix of pure love. She weighs about 6 pounds and is approximately 2 to 2-1/2 years old. She is absolutely one of the sweetest little dogs we have ever had the good fortune to foster. We don't know the circumstances that caused it, but Nina only has three legs (technically 3-1/2) - I think someone forgot to tell her that it could create challenges for her, because she doesn't let it slow her down in the least. I thought originally that the only thing she couldn't do was jump up on the furniture (not necessarily a bad thing), but then my husband was sitting there watching TV and realized she was sitting on the couch - so I guess forget the can't jump statement. Seriously, it just doesn't seem to bother her in the least. She does play with our other little dogs too, but I think she is going to be more of a people dog. She follows my husband around like a little shadow. When you see her, you will immediately know what I mean about her sweetness - it is like every bone in her body is full of love. She is crate trained (doesn't really love it but tolerates it) and housetrained. She will be a perfect little girl for some lucky family. She is truly a delight!
