Hello, My name is Buster Brown and I am a 1 year old Australian Shephard mix.  I had a family but they left me in a big empty field all alone.  I found a friend named Charlie roaming in that field and he brought me home to meet his family.

I now live with them, my Foster Family, while I wait for a new family to take me home.  I am very good at home, I use the potty outside (we have a dog door).  I love to play with my foster brothers and sisters (the ones with four legs and the ones with only two legs.)

I love to be petted and hang out on the couch with you.  I am a bit shy with men, but once I learn to trust them we are friends for life.  I have 2 two legged foster siblings and I love to play with them...  I am so excited when they come home from school each day.  They often leave things on the floor which I think should be my toys and I am learning that I shouldn’t chew those things.

I know how to sit and high five; I am a VERY smart boy!  My favorite time is when I’m running around and playing in the back yard.  I must have a fenced yard if I’m free as I like to explore.

Dark shadows and places scare me, so I need a family that is patient.  I am a great watch dog and bark whenever I hear a strange sound or a stranger some to the door.  I am working on my manners and learning that jumping is not o.k.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
