About Thumper

  • Declawed: No

Thumper is a sweet little boy, about 5 lbs, that was recently rescued from a local kill shelter. He was found running loose with a cast on his leg but that didn’t slow Thumper down (we named him Thumper because of the way his cast sounded on the floor when he was running around!) He was taken immediately to a veterinarian and his foster mom was worried he might lose part of his foot from being all wet in that nasty cast. It was a scary two weeks but Thumper showed everyone how tough he is. Thumper is doing well with his house training and he does well in his crate at night. He is super playful and social.

Thumper looks like a Chihuahua and Pomeranian mix. In his foster home he plays with his cat friends and a lot’s of doggy foster brothers and sisters. He does well with both. He will need lots of exercise and is very young, under 1 year, so his new parents will need to be patient until Thumper learns all the rules. His foster mom recommends basic obedience training to help Thumper along.
