Sophie is a sweet little seven pound ball of fluff – she really feels even smaller than that!  She is a purebred Shih-Tzu and is a soft gray and white color – her fur is so soft you just want to sit there and pet her.  I think she is just fine with that too; she loves to curl up in your lap and cuddle.  She also enjoys sitting on the couch and playing with her toys so she is quite capable of entertaining herself.  Sophie just turned one year old at the end of December and is a very lively little girl, she gets along well with our other dogs and loves chasing around in the backyard.  She is not a bit timid so I think she will be very good with everyone and is very friendly.  She is quite the jumper and loves to surprise you and suddenly be sitting in your lap – ready to be petted.  She does quite well in her crate at night with no complaints and is housetrained using a doggie door.  Sophie has the sweetest face with a cute little flat nose and is just a very happy little girl.  I know she will be a loving addition to her new family!  (Sophie's fur brother Tucker is also up for adoption...check him out too!)

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
